Mr. McKoy owned a barbershop in my community for Forty years, transforming hair and lives from his small shop up the street from the house. 

That time I used vine ripened tomatoes from Pop's Garden, along with herbs and sweet red onion to top a decadent buttermilk cornbread. (Video)

This was a lesson in a lesson. To those who aren't open to receiving a word beyond the words spoken, you may overlook the bigger picture and write this off as a tutorial on properly cracking pecans. For breakfast - smokey bacon and oysters stewed over buttery grits. Grapefruit, satsuma, and tangerine pulled right off the stem.
